Wave Cyber was founded in Shanghai in 2001 as a manufacturer of composite pressure tanks and membrane pressure vessels. In 2011 the company established Guangdong Ospura, a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to spiral-wound RO and NF membrane element manufacturing.
In 2014 Wave Cyber opened its Mentor, Ohio production base to serve the North American market directly. In 2021 the company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Star Market under stock code 688718.
Today, Wave Cyber and OSPURA hardware is deployed across 30+ countries, serving long-term OEM and utility customers — with membranes running in demanding environments such as salt-lake lithium extraction, seawater desalination, and industrial reuse.
