What drives element selection.

When to choose what.
General municipal brackish duty defaults to the BW series. For lower-pressure source water where energy is the dominant cost, ULP and XULP cut pumping load meaningfully. Specify NF where the treatment target is hardness, color, or DBP precursors rather than full salt rejection — common on surface-water plants. Where source water carries elevated boron or TDS, SW or BW-HR variants give the additional rejection headroom.
